Dallas Animal Services joins a national coalition of 13 animal shelters called Human Animal Support Services (HASS), which is aimed at keeping pets in homes. As a pilot shelter, DAS will implement a new animal welfare organizational model that recognizes pets and people as family-units and works to keep them together.
